"What is the deadline for entering the 5k?"
We will accept entries up until, and on the day of the event. However, t-shirts will only be guaranteed to those entries received and paid by Friday, October 19, 2018. If you register after October 19, you will still receive a t-shirt, however it may be after the event.
"What if the weather is not good that day?"
Late October in Ohio can be very unpredictable when it comes to the weather, and unfortunately, we cannot control what mother nature has in store for that day. The event will take place regardless of the weather. Please dress accordingly for the day. We will do our best to make sure the course is clear and accessible for the 5k. If the need should arise to delay the start of the race for any reason to make the course safer, we reserve the right to do so. However, due to funds being allocated prior to the race for shirt printing, supplies, etc. - there will be NO REFUNDS should the event be cancelled because of unsafe conditions. You will receive your event shirt. We will do EVERYTHING in our power to see that the 5k takes place as scheduled.
"Where do the proceeds for the race go?"
All of the proceeds generated through the Spooktacular Spartans 5k will go to the Pleasant Music Boosters program exclusively.
"I'm not interested in running, but would like to contribute...how?"
We would love to have as many folks run or walk our 5k as possible, but we do realize that this isn't everybody's "cup of tea," so to speak. Therefore, we have another ways you may help us out! We are always looking for sponsors for our 5k. If you are interested in sponsorship, please click on the "Sponors" link at the top of the page. Additionally, if you would like to make a donation, you may do so by clicking on the "Online Registration" link at the top and contributing to the Pleasant Music Boosters.
